Gelato Pique pop-up at Raffles City Shopping Centre has kawaii Japanese loungewear, with free ice cream on opening weekend
If you’ve ever been drawn to Gelato Pique’s dreamy displays while shopping in Japan, good news: you’ll soon be able to get your hands on its fluffy, cloud-soft pieces without hopping on a plane.
The cult-favourite loungewear brand is making its Singapore debut with a month-long pop-up at Lumine in Raffles City Shopping Centre from now till 30 Sept 2026.

Shoppers can look forward to browsing more than 80 items spanning cosy PJs, babywear, accessories, homeware, and even outfits for your pets, plus complimentary ice cream on opening weekend.
Get free Creamier ice cream on 5 and 6 Sept
In keeping with Gelato Pique’s “wearable dessert” concept, there’ll be an actual sweet treat in store for everyone on 5 and 6 Sept.
The giveaway area will be hard to miss if you’re arriving by train. You’ll spot it as you come up from City Hall MRT station into Raffles City Shopping Centre, just outside the mall entrance.
For now, the space offers a little preview of what awaits inside the pop-up, with a bed dressed in Gelato Pique bedding, teddy bears, and a mannequin modelling one of its PJ sets.

Come the weekend, between 1pm and 3pm, it’ll make way for the Creamier ice cream giveaway.
The mechanics are simple: follow Lumine Singapore on Instagram, then like and share its designated post.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll get to enjoy complimentary Creamier ice cream, plus a S$5 voucher to use at the Gelato Pique pop-up.

There’ll also be several Instagram-worthy photo spots decked out in Gelato Pique’s recognisable kawaii aesthetic, so you can snap a few suitably pastel pictures while you’re there.
Shop fluffy PJs, cooling loungewear, and more
Gelato Pique was launched in 2008 with a full-on cute, whimsical, and girly aesthetic, featuring marshmallow-soft textures, dreamy pastel colours, and playful prints across its loungewear and accessories.

At the heart of the brand is its range of specially developed fabrics, with different textures suited to varying levels of softness and warmth.
Its signature Gelato material has that plush, cloud-soft feel the brand is best known for.
Meanwhile, Smoothie is thinner, sleeker, and more lightweight.

Fluffy clothes and Singapore weather aren’t always the most natural pairing, though, which is why the 84-piece edit has been specially curated with our climate in mind, with plenty coming from the brand’s summer collection.
You’ll find pieces in more breathable, humidity-friendly materials such as rayon, cotton, and linen, with some styles featuring cool-touch finishes for an extra bit of relief in the heat.

While loungewear is Gelato Pique’s bread and butter, you don’t necessarily have to reserve everything for bedtime or WFH.
Some of the pieces could easily double as casual daywear. Throw them on for a laid-back day out, or save the comfiest sets for a long-haul flight, when looking cute and feeling like you’re wrapped in a blanket are equally important.

And speaking of blankets, the brand goes well beyond women’s PJs.
Its range covers menswear, maternity pieces, bedding, and homeware. There are also smaller giftable bits such as plushies, bag charms, and pouches.

If you’re shopping for the little ones, there are plenty of pint-sized options from cosy babywear to adorable ponchos that are especially popular as gifts in Japan.

Tiny yukatas for furry friends
The four-legged members of the family aren’t left out either.
Gelato Pique also makes cat and dog products, with the Singapore collection including a ridiculously cute pet-sized yukata, designed as a cooling piece for furry friends.

The pop-up, which marks Gelato Pique’s first appearance in Singapore, will stick around for the whole of September.
Shoppers can look forward to items priced from S$30 to S$170.
