Apartment in Singapore allegedly turned into vice den, landlord shocked to find condoms left behind
A landlord in Singapore was left stunned after discovering that his rented apartment may have been used as a vice den.
The revelation came after neighbours lodged complaints and the police notified the owner, prompting him to seek help from his property agent.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the property agent, Mr Zheng, 39, shared the incident in a TikTok video lasting over two minutes.
He explained that the unit in question was a one-bedroom condominium.
It had been leased on a one-year contract to a local man in his 40s or 50s, and the documents provided at the time of signing appeared normal.

Unlisted woman found staying in unit
However, complaints later surfaced that the flat was being occupied not by the signed tenant, but by a woman who was not on the lease.
When Mr Zheng inspected the apartment with the owner, they found the woman was no longer there.
Still, evidence of her stay remained.
“All personal belongings had already been taken away, but in the corners of the room there were condoms, hair ties, and tissues,” Mr Zheng told Shin Min Daily News.

There were also large quantities of unopened tissue packets inside the drawers.
Based on what was left behind, he suspected that the woman had been using the unit to provide sexual services.
Tenant moves out without resistance
When the landlord confronted the official tenant and ordered him to vacate the flat the next day, the man agreed without protest.
“His response was very experienced and professional, with no argument at all,” Mr Zheng recalled. “He moved out the next day, left the keys in the unit, and didn’t even ask for the deposit back.”
Mr Zheng noted that most tenants would normally dispute such a sudden eviction, which made the man’s swift compliance appear suspicious.
He now advises other landlords to remain vigilant and maintain good ties with neighbours, who are often the first to notice irregularities.
“Tenant documents can be made to look perfect, and sometimes it’s hard to detect anything unusual,” he cautioned.
