Jay Chou Concert Tickets Resold By Carousell Scalpers For Up To S$6,000
How much does it cost to dance to the beat of Jay Chou’s classic hits?
We found the answer after pre-ticket sales for Mandapop King Jay Chou’s concert for January 2020 began on Tuesday (28 May).
While fans are working hard to afford tickets, Carousell scalpers are working harder with tickets resold for up to S$6,000.
Resold for up to $6,000
The original ticket prices ranged from $198 to $368 at Sports Hub Tix, Singapore Indoor Stadium Box Office and SingPost outlets.
We’re not sure how high concert tickets can go, but the most expensive listing is at S$6,000 for CAT 1 tickets.
This just proves that it’s expensive AF to live your childhood dreams.
Cheaper Jay Chou tickets at $1200 for 2 & $950
Before you contemplate on selling your kidney, we found significantly cheaper tickets but they also come with a hefty price tag like this CAT 7 ticket worth $950.
Those who want to fangirl with a friend can also purchase 2 tickets at $1200.
But still, considering these absurd prices, we sincerely hope that true Jay Chou fans have already secured their tickets.
Grab ‘em now
Jay Chou’s World Tour tickets will be on 10 Jan 2019 to 11 Jan 2019 at National Stadium.
You may check out their Sports Hub site to buy a ticket and view the seating plan.
We hope that most die-hard fans can successfully buy tickets at the original sale price. While we believe every Jay Chou concert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, $6,000 is far from a reasonable price.
