Woman Shouts At KFC NEX Staff & Spits On Them, Police Investigations Ongoing

KFC Makes Police Report After Woman Caught Spitting On NEX Outlet Staff

Many people are finding it difficult to cope with being at home all the time. This, along with the increasingly tense ‘Circuit Breaker’ situation, has made some people more susceptible to losing their temper in public.

Unfortunately, one KFC staff bore the brunt of a customer’s outburst yesterday (22 Apr), at the fried chicken chain’s NEX outlet.

A video shared to Facebook captured the woman as she shouted at the worker, spat twice and left.

Woman shouts at KFC NEX staff, spits on them too

In the video, the woman shouts at the staff before spitting on them.

She tells the staff “nobody will scared”, and scolded the staff for making her “wait like that”.

She then continued to shout, saying “wait for you to die”, before taking things a step further and yelling “wait for your whole family to die” right after.

The staff – a manager at KFC NEX – did not respond to the woman.

The irate customer then spat twice on her, before leaving the counter.

On behalf of all of us, the person recording the video exclaimed “Ew!” when the woman spat at the staff.

KFC lodged police report

MS News wrote in to KFC for their comments regarding this matter, and the fast food chain has since responded.

According to KFC, a police report has been made against the woman, and investigations are currently ongoing.

The outlet’s premises has also been disinfected and cleaned immediately after the incident.

Most importantly, KFC shared,

Our top priority remains the welfare and safety of our staff, who is currently off-duty and resting.

Be patient if there’s a long wait for food

Long queues and safe distancing while buying food is frustrating for many, but that doesn’t mean we can vent our anger on others.

Everyone is having a difficult time, especially those working in F&B who deal with overwhelming amounts of orders every day.

It’s only natural that wait times are longer now, so let’s be a little more patient and gracious in our behaviour.

After all, we’d hate for another fast food chain to temporarily shut down.
