The cabin crew tried to talk him against doing so, informing him that such an action was a violation of the Aviation Security Act.

In a video circulating online, the cabin crew could be seen trying to pull the man away from the emergency exit door.

They eventually managed to subdue the man and moved him to a space separate from other passengers, as per the plane captain’s instructions.

He was handed over to the Incheon International Airport Police Force after the plane safely landed in South Korea in the early hours of Friday (8 Nov). The plane carrying 238 passengers arrived without further issues.

The police are reportedly investigating the said passenger for the turmoil he caused on the plane.
