Malaysian travelled 350KM to try Wingstop in Singapore during Ramadan
For most people in Singapore, a Wingstop outlet is at most a few train stations away. But others around the world might not enjoy that level of accessibility.
A Malaysian woman, who goes by @notfatini on TikTok travelled 350km — the equivalent of eight marathons — from Kuala Lumpur (KL) to Singapore just for a taste of Wingstop’s fried chicken.
A video documenting her journey has gone viral on TikTok, garnering over 600,000 views to date.

Inspired to travel after seeing Wingstop mukbang videos
Fatini told MS News that she felt inspired after seeing Wingstop mukbang videos shot in Singapore.
The 27-year-old finally made the trip on 7 Apr and visited Wingstop’s outlet at City Square Mall.
There, she ordered Wingstop’s wings and tenders in several flavours:
- Kecap manis
- Garlic parmesan
- Lemon pepper
Wingstop’s kecap manis offerings seemingly stood out most among the three flavours. Fatini added that she preferred the tenders over boneless chicken.
In addition to the meat, Fatini also ordered cheese fries and fried mushrooms — she scored the side dishes 10 out of 10.
She said: “We were fasting at that time, so we visited the tourist spots in the morning and then ordered Wingstop takeaways in the evening to break fast at Changi Airport.”
Fatini returned just three weeks later on 27 Apr after receiving an invitation from Wingstop.
After trying numerous flavours offered by Wingstop, Fatini felt that kecap manis was her favourite.
Wingstop has 21 outlets in Singapore

In Dec 2013, Wingstop opened its first Singapore outlet in Bedok Mall.
The restaurant has since opened 20 more outlets in sunny Singapore.
Wingstop offers a wide range of flavours for their fried chicken. Crowd favourites include kecap manis, mango habanero, and garlic parmesan.
The restaurant chain does not have any outlets in Malaysia at the time of writing.
