63-year-old man found dead in Tengah Drive HDB flat
On Wednesday (10 April), a 63-year-old man was found dead in his two-room flat at 125A Tengah Drive.
He did not respond to his family’s calls or texts for 10 days, Shin Min Daily News reported.

One week before the incident, his sister also dreamt of his passing.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police ruled out foul play. The case is classified as an unnatural death.
Deceased’s family thought he had gone on vacation
The deceased, surnamed Guo (transliterated from Chinese), reportedly moved into the flat alone in January this year.
Before that, he lived with his sister for about a year after his divorce three years ago.
Speaking to the Chinese site, his sister highlighted that he was not fond of replying to messages and calls.
He also mentioned to his family recently that a friend had invited him to Genting Highlands.
This led them to believe he may have gone on vacation and thus did not respond to them for the past 10 days.
Shin Min Daily News reported that the deceased was last online on 31 March.
Sister dreamt of his passing one week before his death was confirmed
Mr Guo’s sister made a trip to the unit on Wednesday (10 April).
According to her, when she was purchasing the food she intended to visit him with, she heard faint noises of what sounded like her brother calling her name.
She also revealed that on 3 April, she dreamt that he passed away with a cut on the back of his hand.
When she arrived at his doorstep that day, her brother’s walking stick was wedged between the wooden door and the metal gate. Moreover, his windows were left open.
A strange smell emanating from the unit indicated to her that something was amiss.
She then called the police who found Mr Guo motionless inside his home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
