Motorcyclist In ICU With Severe Injuries After Bedok Accident Involving Lorry On 2 Aug
Traffic accidents can happen at any time of the day, even in the wee hours when the roads are supposedly emptier.
A motorcyclist was riding along Bedok in the early hours of Thursday (2 Sep) when he got into a serious accident with a lorry and suffered multiple injuries.
His sister has since taken to Facebook to appeal for information and eyewitnesses of the accident.

According to the motorcyclist’s sister, the accident happened at around 3am on Thursday (2 Sep) along Bedok North Ave 3 under the PIE flyover. Here’s the rough location of the accident:
When questioned by the police, the lorry driver apparently said he was executing a right turn when they collided.
Though it appears nobody had captured footage of the accident, a passer-by had reportedly alerted the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The rider was then conveyed to Changi General Hospital where he was found to be in an “unstable” state.
He also suffered multiple injuries like:
- Bladder injury
- Blood clot in the brain
- Fractured left leg
- Lung injury

As a result of his injuries, the motorcyclist requires breathing support and blood transfusion.
Sister seeks eyewitnesses
Sadly, there were apparently no eyewitnesses at the site of the accident.
Hence, the motorcyclist’s sister has taken to Facebook to appeal for information and eyewitnesses.
Speaking to MS News, she said her family merely wants to find out what had happened that night and isn’t keen on assigning blame.
To help prospective eyewitnesses identify the rider, she uploaded pictures showing what he was wearing — black clothing and a pair of white sneakers.
Hope he recovers from the injuries
Hearing news of a loved one getting involved in such a serious traffic accident must’ve been terrifying, let alone being stuck with little information as to what exactly had happened.
We hope eyewitnesses will step forward to provide details on the accident and that the motorcyclist will recover fully despite his injuries.
