Parkway Parade Visited By Covid-19 Patients On 20 May
On Sunday (31 May), the MOH confirmed 518 new cases of Covid-19, of which 2 are community cases. The rest involved Work Permit holders staying in dormitories.
1 shopping centre was also added to the list of public places visited by Covid-19 patients during their infectious period — Parkway Parade.
This is the first of such locations in the East of Singapore. The majority of the previously listed places were concentrated in the western, northern, and central regions.
Parkway Parade visit happened during non-peak hours
According to MOH’s press release, an undisclosed number of Covid-19 community patients visited Parkway Parade shopping centre on 20 May.
The visit occurred during non-peak hours on a Wednesday afternoon, between 3-4pm.
MOH, however, did not reveal which shops or establishment the patients patronised during the hour-long visit.

Those who were at the mall during the stated dates and timings should pay close attention to their health for the next 2 weeks.
In the event where there are respiratory symptoms like cough, sore throat, or runny nose, please visit a doctor immediately.
MOH finishes testing 22,200 nursing home staff & residents
MOH has also completed a round of surveillance swab test for 9,000 staff and 13,200 residents at nursing homes.
Of the 22,200 tests conducted, only 5 returned positive, comprising 4 residents at Orange Valley Nursing Home and a staff member at Ren Ci @ Ang Mo Kio.
516 cases were workers living in dormitories
516 of the patients reported on Sunday (31 May) are Work Permit holders living in dormitories.
Of these cases, 99% of them are linked, and contact tracing is ongoing for the remaining patients — around 5 of them.
972 Covid-19 patients discharged
In more positive news, 972 additional cases of Covid-19 have made a full recovery and have been discharged.
The cluster at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) has also been closed as there hasn’t been any new cases for the past 28 days.
321 patients are still hospitalised and 8 are currently seeking medical treatment in the intensive care unit.
