A recent job listing on MyCareersFuture for a ‘Supply Chain Delivery Driver’ has raised eyebrows among netizens for its ironic promise of providing ‘work-life balance’ despite requiring a six-day work week.
The job ad, which appeared in the r/Singapore subreddit, listed a salary range between S$2,500 and S$3,000 and promoted a “consistent 6-day work week with Sundays off to recharge” as a perk — a benefit that many Redditors found contradictory.

“Am I out of touch, or are they out of touch?” questioned the Redditor who posted it on the subreddit thread.

The ad also described the location, Ubi, as “convenient” — though some commenters pointed out that Ubi’s distance from central Singapore and its industrial atmosphere made it less than ideal.
Adding to the irony, the ‘Career Stability’ section, typically reserved for promotion potential, instead touted the chance to drive “well-maintained 10ft & 12ft lorries”, which the listing assured would “ensure safety” for employees.
