MOH Reports 517 New Covid-19 Cases On 4 Jun
On Thursday (4 Jun), the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 517 new cases of Covid-19.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 36,922.
15 community cases were reported, all of which are asymptomatic, and also close contacts of earlier confirmed cases. They have already been placed on quarantine, and consist of:
- 2 Permanent Residents (PRs)
- 6 Work Pass holders
- 7 Work Permit holders
Of the community cases, 13 reside in a shophouse at Veerasamy Road with an earlier confirmed case.
Meanwhile, 502 cases involve migrant workers living in dormitories.
4 new clusters, 1 clusters closed.
MOH has identified 4 additional clusters at:
- Kampong Bugis
- 212 Tagore Lane
- 63 Tuas South Avenue 1
- 109 Ubi Avenue 4

The Ministry also declared 1 cluster officially closed, as no cases have been linked to it for 28 days. It is at 3 Buroh Lane.
322 patients discharged
MOH has also confirmed that 322 patients were discharged today. This brings the total number of recoveries in Singapore to 23,904.
Meanwhile, 303 patients still remain hospitalised, 5 of which are in the intensive care unit.
The death toll stands at 24 so far.
Community cases have risen
This is the third consecutive day that community cases have risen.
Although it is too soon to tell if the increase has anything to do with entering Phase 1, we should still remain vigilant to keep community cases from rising.
