A confrontation between a security guard and a delivery rider at a Bukit Timah condo has drawn attention, adding fuel to the ongoing tensions between delivery riders and condo management.
The fracas was observed by a resident, who recorded part of it and posted the footage on TikTok.

The 1 minute 48-second clip begins with the guard, dressed in black, and the delivery rider, already locked in a physical altercation on the driveway.
The rider is seen flailing his arms to fend off the guard, who then pushes him back.

The confrontation escalates as the guard catches up with the rider at the gate, and both continue to jostle, with shouts audible in the background.
After a brief moment obscured by a tree, the guard appears to grab hold of the rider near a set of garbage bins, continuing the struggle.

Incident occurred at Upper Bukit Timah condo on 31 Oct
The incident occurred at the Springdale Condominium, on Hindhede Walk off Upper Bukit Timah Road, a resident named only as Mr Qiu told Shin Min Daily News.
At about 3pm on 31 Oct, the 24-year-old student heard a commotion outside his window and recorded the fight, he said.
He understood that the rider was making a delivery but was turned away by the guard, leading to the clash.
The rider eventually did not fulfil his delivery, the resident believed.
MS News has reached out to the food delivery company for more information on the incident.
Security personnel should conduct themselves professionally: Association
Ms Lorraine Lim, Deputy President of the Security Association Singapore (SAS). told Shin Min that security personnel should conduct themselves professionally while handling incidents appropriately and following the directions of the condo management.
SAS has put up posters in all guardhouses to prevent such incidents from worsening, she said.
They also encourage guards and members of the public to have good relations with one another.
