Woman allegedly finds fly eggs in food bought from shop in KL

In her post, Ms Leena Hassim said she was just about to eat the meal when she spotted the eggs on her ayam gepuk (smashed chicken).
In response to comments, she revealed that she has since made reports to the Malaysian Ministry of Health and foodpanda, where she had ordered the food.

Following Ms Leena’s post, one user took the liberty to message the shop regarding the incident.
They asked for a receipt and which branch the food was from, to which Ms Leena said they should have received her complaint through an email via foodpanda.
Shop claims to have pest control measures
When the user sent Ms Leena’s response to the shop, they apologised and said they would take immediate action regarding her complaint.
They assured that all of their stores are equipped with a fly repellent machine, and they conduct pest control every month.

Additionally, they said taking time to pick up food delivery from outside the house may also cause the appearance of fly eggs.
“We’ve taken care of it as much as possible,” they guaranteed. “We really prioritise cleanliness and quality.”
