Car overturns after collision in Bukit Timah, 3 injured
A car flipped over and skidded across a junction following a collision in Bukit Timah on 25 Nov at around 10.25pm.
According to a dashcam video, vehicles were making a right turn onto Upper Bukit Timah Road when a car, disregarding the red light, attempted to drive across from Clementi Road onto Jalan Anak Bukit.
This caused a collision with one of the turning vehicles, flipping the white car onto its side from the impact.
The momentum carried it further, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof and skid across the road.
It finally came to a stop, lying on its side, just past the intersection.
3 people taken to hospital
Nearby motorists quickly alighted and rushed over to check on the occupants of the car.
A photograph of the aftermath showed the car still on its side, with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel attending to the scene.
Police told MS News that a 42-year-old male driver and his 20-year-old female passenger were both conveyed to the hospital, conscious.
Additionally, a 65-year-old male driver was also taken to the hospital by the SCDF.
He is currently assisting with police investigations.
MS News has reached out to the SCDF for further comment.
