Man drives through fallen tree amidst storm in Singapore
Strong winds and heavy rain battered Singapore on Tuesday (17 Sept) evening, snarling traffic and causing trees to collapse.
In a video posted on the ROAD.sg Facebook page, a car was filmed driving through one such fallen tree in Tanjong Pagar.
Despite the fallen tree being in the way, the driver seemed unfazed and simply drove through it.
As the car drove past the tree, the branches and leaves seemingly bore resemblance to the rotating brushes commonly found at automated car washes.
Video sparked outrage among netizens
Some netizens found the driver’s actions bizarre, pointing out that doing so may scratch or damage the car.
Another user also pointed out the driver’s glee when driving through the tree.
“They sounded so happy driving through a fallen tree. Better go see doctor,” the user commented.
Many netizens also highlighted the dangers of driving through trees as drivers are unable to get a clear view of the road ahead.
