HDB Bukit Merah Staff Infected With Covid-19 Works In Administrative Role
The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has temporarily closed its Bukit Merah outlet after one of its staff tested positive for Covid-19.
The board informed members of the public via a Facebook post on Friday (27 Mar).
HDB staff does not serve customers directly
According to the post, HDB’s Bukit Merah branch along Bukit Merah Central will be closed until Monday (30 Mar) for cleaning and disinfection.
The infected staff reportedly works in an administrative role and is not part of the frontline staff serving customers.
Information regarding his age and date when he tested positive for the virus wasn’t disclosed.
Staff from the outlet will contact customers who have made appointments to reschedule them.
