Japanese porn actress joined industry after she went broke during Covid-19 pandemic
Renowned Japanese porn actress Nanase Alice shared that financial hardship during the Covid-19 pandemic pushed her to join the adult industry, revealing that she had just ¥20,000 — slightly over S$170 — in her bank account at the time.
In an interview with a Taiwanese adult industry expert, as reported by ET Today, Nanase Alice discussed her decision to enter the industry amidst her financial struggles.
A very direct & honest response
The adult industry expert described her response as one of the most straightforward answers he’d ever received in his years of interviewing adult video (AV) actresses.

In the interview Nanase Alice confessed that she found herself in a dire situation after struggling to find work during the pandemic.
Distressed over dwindling savings, she scrambled to make ends meet. Ultimately, she felt she had no choice but to join the AV industry.
The 27-year-old faced numerous hardships early in her career.
Since her debut as an AV actress, she changed offices several times and was even dropped by an agency at one point.
Already, she has worked with three of Japan’s major AV film producers.
Continues to build on her success
Despite the initial struggles, Nanase Alice has found success, thanks to her sweet appearance.
She is now actively working to expand her stardom overseas, attending numerous small events to interact with her fans.

In particular, she surprised fans when she suddenly attended the 2024 Taiwan Gay Parade on 26 Oct.
She anlso announced that she’ll be returning to Taiwan in early November for more fan meetings.
