Kid Tries To Button Uniform’s Shirt In Adorable Video
Staying home during this pandemic often calls for the companionship of snacks and food delivery hauls.
Blissful and well-fed, fitting into our pre-Covid clothes might be a matter of out of sight, out of mind.
For this 6-year-old student from Henan, China, the struggle was real when he tried fitting into his button-down uniform, after months of school closures — an extremely relatable scenario for those among us who’ve packed on a few additional Covid-19 pounds.
His adorable attempt to button his shirt up went viral on Weibo, capturing the hearts of netizens from around the world. We summarise the story below.
Kid tries to squeeze into uniform
From the video, we can see the cute kindergartener straining with visible effort to fit into his white uniform shirt.
Despite receiving some ‘back-up’ by his grandmother, the 6-year-old still couldn’t seem to close the remaining buttons around his tummy.
A burst of shy laughter is his reaction to the unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, incidentally putting a smile on our faces too.
Staying home during Covid-19 lockdown
After staying home during the Covid-19 outbreak, the 6-year-old boy now weighs around 47.5kg, according to a report by Henan China.
Of course, packing on a few grams could be an extremely relatable experience for those of us who weren’t strict with our exercise routines.
Uniform mishap makes us go aww
While the endeavour he set out on turned out largely unsuccessful, at least he won over all our hearts.
Hopefully, he manages to find a comfortable & appropriate attire before the reopening of the kindergartens in Henan.
We also wish him all the best at starting school & regaining a chance to hang out with his friends once again.
