Mixue S’pore’s signature cone to cost S$0.50 more, according to notice seen over the Internet
Chinese dessert chain Mixue has been a hit in Singapore for its affordable treats, particularly its Signature KingCone, which costs just S$1.
But the cone will soon get more expensive — its price is reportedly set to be raised to S$1.50 from next Monday (25 Nov).

Mixue cone price hike due to rising cost of raw materials
This is according to a photo shared in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group of a notice with the Mixue letterhead.
It announced in English and Chinese that the price of its Signature KingCone would go up by S$0.50 — a 50% hike.
The change was due to the “rising cost of raw materials” and the company’s intention to continue using high-quality ingredients.

Mixue also cited its “commitment to maintaining the high standards you expect from us”.
Mixue giving out vouchers to customers
To ease customers into the “transition period”, Mixue is offering 1,000 vouchers at each store, the notice said.
These will be given out to thank customers for their support, and are available while stocks last.
It didn’t mention any details of the giveaway, such as how much each voucher is worth or whether a purchase of a certain amount must first be made, but thanked customers for their understanding and continued support.
Long queues for cone at Mixue’s outlets
Since Mixue opened in Singapore in 2022, it has seen long queues at its takeaway kiosks across the island.

Many of the customers in line are there for its S$1 cones — a steal considering Singapore’s high cost of living.

Alas, it seems that even Mixue’s cones are not immune to inflation.
Back in China, Mixue had more than 20,000 outlets as of September 2023, according to China Daily. It also had more than 16,000 franchised stores around the world.
The company, which started as a little ice shop in Henan in 1997, sold around 442 million ice cream cones in China in the first nine months of 2023.
