Mother dies shortly after being found next to dead daughter in house affected by flood
A woman was found unconscious next to her deceased daughter in their house, which had been affected by the ongoing floods in Kelantan, Malaysia.
According to Sinar Harian, 40-year-old Yusnieta Mohd Lawi passed away three days after being admitted to the hospital.

Her nine-year-old daughter, Nur Iezarra Zaliefa, is believed to have died from pulmonary edema, a condition caused by excess fluid in the lungs.
Rushed to the hospital in dump truck amidst flood
The mother and daughter were urgently taken to the hospital after the discovery.
Due to severe flooding in northeastern Malaysia, a dump truck was used to navigate the deep waters and transport them to the hospital.

Reports indicated that the floodwaters in the area ranged from 0.9 to 1.5 metres in depth at that time.
Mother dies while in ICU
Ms Yusnieta, who had remained unconscious, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZ II).
Sadly, she passed away on Tuesday (3 Dec) at around 6.30am, three days after being hospitalised.
Pasir Mas District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed, confirmed that the 40-year-old died after suffering a stroke.
“The child’s mother passed away while receiving treatment at HRPZ II,” he said. “Nur Iezarra Zaliefa was previously confirmed by the hospital to have died from pulmonary edema.”
Norshazlina Jantan, Ms Yusnieta’s sister-in-law, revealed that the girl had been buried two days earlier after an autopsy was completed.
She added that Ms Yusnieta will also be buried at the same cemetery.
Ms Yusnieta is survived by her 14-year-old son and 42-year-old husband, who were both at the hospital when she passed away.
