S’pore Ranks 3rd In The World For Most McDeliveries In A Day, Shows How Much We Love Our Macs

Singapore’s Love For Fast Food Places Us 3rd Globally For Most McDeliveries In A Day

Singapore is consistently topping charts, from building the best airport in the world to having the most competitive economy. Well, we have once again done ourselves proud in the global arena, this time for McDeliveries.

According to the 2019 Global McDelivery Records, Singapore holds the third position for the most number of McDonald’s deliveries in a day, just behind China and Pakistan.

Considering our relatively smaller population, this achievement is a pretty amazing feat and a testament to our undying love for Macs.

Among big names like South Korea and the United Kingdom, Singapore has somehow emerged second runner-up on the list.

For those living in Sembawang, this is only possible with your McDelivery orders.

On 27 Jul 2019, a stunning 1,218 McDeliveries left the Sun Plaza outlet alone — the third highest number of deliveries an outlet made in a single day.

Meanwhile, Pakistan had the most deliveries, feeding a total of 2,405 hungry customers in a mere 24 hours.

China was 384 deliveries ahead of us, attaining second place.

6th Globally For Most Deliveries In 1 Hour

While we did not make it to the top 3 for deliveries per hour, Singapore still managed to get a space on the board.

Narrowly beating Portugal, we stand at sixth place with 109 deliveries made by, you guessed it, the outlet at Sun Plaza.

Guess they’re the most efficient McDonald’s outlet in Singapore huh?

McDeliveries got us somewhere

McDonald’s still remains the favourite fast food chain in our nation, especially with island-wide deliveries making eating more convenient.

Though we might want to do better this year, the rankings may also be a sign that Singaporeans are eating too much McDonald’s.

With that, do remember to eat fast foods in moderation.
