Exclusively Mongrels Limited & Hope For Animals Team Up For Online Adoption Drive, Total Of 5 Dogs Available
Dogs are man’s best friend for a reason — they shower you with pure, unbridled love and affection, and are loyal to a fault.
Many of us have probably dreamt of being best friends with a furry little pal, but seeing as most of us live in HDB flats, our options are pretty limited.
This Sunday (7 June), however, you might just be able to fulfill your lifelong dream with Exclusively Mongrels Limited and Hope For Animals‘ online adoption drive.
Adopt a dog via Facebook Live
Exclusively Mongrels Limited announced its team-up with Hope For Animals in a Facebook post on Thursday (4 Jun).
Viewers can tune in to Hope For Animals’ Facebook page on 7 June at 12.30pm to catch the 5 dogs in action.
As this is part of Hope For Animals’ Home Chat Series, there’ll be a sharing session by 2 owners of adopted dogs as well, who will describe their own adoption processes and introduce viewers to their dogs.
3 HDB-approved dogs up for adoption
5 dogs will be featured in the livestream: Alaska, Ash, Chendol, Roxie and Tau Sar.
3 of them, Alaska, Chendol and Tau Sar, HDB-approved as they are on the smaller side — thus they will fit into the homes of most people.
Alaska is a young, spritely pup just under 3 years old. He’s especially handsome, with his well-groomed white coat.
Chendol is a sweet treat. At roughly 6 years old, the brown-speckled boy has a heart murmur, but that doesn’t make him any less loveable. Just look at that grin on his snout!
Tau Sar is an active 3-year-old female who loves her walks just much as she loves her downtime. Her fosterers like to think she’d emerge champion at the Doggie Olympics.

Bigger dogs in need of homes too
Ash and Roxie aren’t HDB-approved as they’re too tall, but those living in privately owned property can still look into giving them a forever home.
Roxie is a gentle girl who loves her daily walks, so she’s perfect if you’ve recently picked up running or taking strolls outside.
She’s been through a lot, so a patient family would be ideal to bring out the best in her.
Ash is a big, goofy boy, and unfortunately not HDB-approved because of his size.
The 1.5-year-old gets along well with other dogs, and will be a huge bundle of joy in any loving family.
Think before you adopt
These dogs are all adorable and deserving of homes, but do think before you adopt. Don’t adopt a dog if you aren’t prepared to care for it.
Lots of love, understanding, dedication, care and patience are a must when it comes to dogs with less-than-ideal pasts, but they do deserve a second chance at life.
It’s not easy at times, but definitely rewarding when you help each other become the best versions of yourselves.
We sincerely hope these dogs find amazing permanent homes, and bring only the happiest of times to their new families.
