McDonald’s Singapore to charge S$0.50 for curry sauce tubs
From 2 Jan 2025, McDonald’s customers in Singapore will have to pay S$0.50 for the fast food chain’s beloved curry sauce.
The same pricing also applies to McDonald’s BBQ and honey mustard sauce.
However, customers whose orders include McNuggets will receive at least one tub of complimentary sauce.
Extra charge for all condiments, apart from chilli & ketchup packets
According to an infographic on McDonald’s Singapore’s website, every condiment will be chargeable from 2 Jan 2025, with the exception of ketchup and garlic chilli sauce.
All McNuggets dipping sauces, which include curry, BBQ, and honey mustard sauces, will cost S$0.50 per tub beyond the allocated quantity.
Breakfast condiments such as hotcake syrup and whipped butter pads will similarly cost S$0.50 for each additional packet outside of the fixed allocation.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s salad dressing will cost S$0.70 per extra packet.

The fast food chain shared these two challenges are jointly faced by the whole F&B industry in Singapore.
“We seek our customers’ understanding and hope they will continue to enjoy the food – and sauces – they love,” the statement read.
