2-year-old girl gets hand stuck in gashapon machine in Malaysia
A two-year-old girl got her hand stuck in a gashapon, or capsule toy, machine in Perak, Malaysia on Wednesday (16 Oct).

According to a Sin Chew Daily report, the incident occurred outside a grocery store in Kampung Pantai Remis.
It is not known why the young girl put her hand inside the machine.
Nine firefighters dispatched for rescue
In a statement, the Perak Fire and Rescue Department said they received a report regarding the incident at 6.47pm.
A fire truck, two four-wheel vehicles, and nine firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene 10 kilometres away.

“Arriving at the scene of the incident, the team found the [girl’s] right hand stuck in the slot of the game machine,” said Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, assistant director of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Division in Perak.
Girl suffered minor injuries
Special equipment was used to pry the girl’s hand from the gashapon machine, and the rescue itself only took about 10 minutes.
A woman, believed to be her mother, held the girl to comfort her during the rescue operation.
Fortunately, the girl did not sustain any other injuries apart from indentations on her fingers.
The rescue operation concluded at 7.13pm.
