McDonald’s Malaysia Launched Sarsi Soft Serve Sundae
You might have remembered the distinct flavour of mixed vanilla, caramel, wintergreen and licorice when you drank the classic Sarsi root beer. After all, drinking a cold glass of soft drinks after a long day at school was soothing for your sanity.
You might have forgotten your favourite childhood drink after the milk tea craze, but the tang of root beer is making a comeback through McDonald’s Malaysia.
The brand recently announced the launch of Sarsaparilla sundae cones that’ll take you back to the past. Here’s what to expect.
Sarsi makes a comeback
McDonald’s Malaysia Sarsaparilla ice cream officially hit stores on Friday (21 Mar).
The Sarsaparilla Sundae cones come in three flavours which include Sarsaparilla, Sarsaparilla Vanilla and Sarsaparilla Choco Dip.
Our taste buds are very familiar with the taste of Sarsi root beer but what if it was lavishly coated with vanilla or chocolate? We’re excited to find out how it tastes.
McDonald’s Malaysia has yet to reveal the prices of these new concoctions, but we suspect it’ll be around ($0.85) RM2.55 per cone like their past soft serve ice cream promos.
Weekend trip to JB?
We’ve asked McDonald’s if these new treats will be available here in Singapore, so stay tuned for updates.
We’ll eagerly await it’s release in our local outlets, but in the meantime we’ll satisfy our sweet tooth with their divine Popcorn Caramel Delights! Otherwise, you can always cross the border and buy these treats for a cheaper price.
If you choose to take a short trip, don’t forget to give something back to your friends and family. We hope the ice cream doesn’t melt though!
