4-year-old conveyed to hospital after Tanah Merah accident on 27 June morning

Nine people were conveyed to hospital after an accident between two cars happened at the junction of Tanah Merah Kechil Road and New Upper Changi Road on Thursday (27 June) morning.

A 4-year-old was reportedly one of the victims conveyed to the hospital.

Investigations are ongoing

Facebook page Singapore roads accident.com posted a two-minute video showing a white car lying on its side at the junction.

Nearby, a grey car with a dented hood was left stranded in the middle of the junction.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance was also present at the scene.

A female officer was seen trying to get the victims out of the flipped vehicle, with a young girl being one of the first to be pulled out. She was then escorted to a nearby kerb where another boy was standing.

Other victims were later seen escorted out of the car one after another.

4-year-old among passengers conveyed to hospital

In response to MS News‘ queries, a Singapore Police Force (SPF) spokesperson said they were alerted to the incident at about 11am on Thursday (27 June).

Nine people, comprising two drivers and seven car passengers were conveyed to the hospital in a conscious state.

SPF shared that the youngest of the passengers was a 4-year-old.

Police investigations are ongoing.
