If you have a penchant for all things sweet and Japanese, Tokyo Banana’s new Hello Kitty Apple Cake may just be a dream come true for you, with a kawaii twist.
And if you thought Tokyo Banana produces only banana cakes, think again.
Because they’re just about to blow our minds – and hearts – with their new Hello Kitty Apple Cake, available from Friday (1 Mar).
Embellished with kawaii Hello Kitty print
These cakes are embellished with Hello Kitty prints so pretty, we think it’ll be hard for anyone to bear sinking their teeth into them.
The delicate egg-shaped sponge cake is layered with custard cream over a filling of apple jam.
Available at major Japanese airports
The Tokyo Banana Hello Kitty Apple Cake comes in 2 portion sizes:
- 4 pieces at S$7.90 (¥648)
- 8 pieces at S$14.50 (¥1,188)
That said, the cakes are only available at Fa-So-La stores in Narita Airport, and the Tokyo Souvenir Shop North found inside Haneda International Terminal.
