Leofoo Water Park In Taiwan Gives Visitors 70% Ticket Discount For Showing Off Their Bellies
Belly fats, for many of us, are the kind of things we desperately want to get rid of. But that often seems like an impossible task.
Now, there might finally be a reason for us to be proud of our protruding tummies.
Recently, Leofoo Water Park (六福水樂園), a theme park in Hsinchu, Taiwan, launched a one-of-a-kind promotional campaign where visitors with big bellies can get a 70% discount off their tickets.
Show your bellies & get 70% off water park ticket
The promotion, aptly named “Whale Day” is pretty straightforward.
Visitors who can “squeeze fats” from their “whale bellies” and jiggle it will receive a generous 70% discount off their tickets.
Instead of paying S$26.27 (NTD599), they’ll now only have to pay S$8.00 (NTD199).
Hopes to attract younger visitors with ‘belly promotion’
According to Taiwan News, the theme park aims to attract younger visitors through this campaign.
Although older folks may not be ashamed to ‘show’ their bellies, younger visitors are more reserved in this aspect. Their conservative approach may discourage them from visiting the water park.
Leofoo Water Park hopes that this promotion will serve as an incentive for younger folks to not feel ashamed about showing their tummies.
The promotion will be available for the last time this weekend on 20 & 21 July.
So if you happen to be in the area and don’t mind showing off your belly, head down quick before the elusive promo ends.
A belly good discount?
While most of us will not benefit from this ‘deal’, other water parks here can certainly experiment by introducing similar promotions to attract visitors.
