300 Packs Of Ayam Penyet With Drinks For Those Who Need Them Most

Many Singaporeans often go out of their way to help the less fortunate in our society.

A kind Samaritan took to Facebook on Thursday (4 Apr) to share that she’ll be giving out 300 sets of nasi ayam penyet with a drink this coming Sunday (7 Apr), to people in need.

Here’s her post in full.

Everyone who wants a packet may join the queue, but she requests that Singaporeans give way to those from low-income groups — presumably so she can help those who need the food the most.

Self-collection at given address

If you want to claim a set of the dish, you can contact her via private message on Facebook.

Alternatively, you can contact her husband here as well.

After you’ve contacted either of the couple to ‘queue’ for the dish, you can collect the food at Canberra Street Blk 107C between 2 to 6pm on Sunday.

Offered delivery as well

On Friday (5 Apr), she posted an update stating that for those who cannot personally go down to collect the ayam penyet, she has called for deliveries to their houses.

She also takes the opportunity to thank two other netizens who have kindly chipped in some extra sides for the food.

Simple acts of kindness

Giving out packs of food may be a small act of kindness, but it’ll definitely go a long way to help those who struggle to make ends meet daily.

Kudos to the netizen for stepping up to make a difference to the lives of fellow Singaporeans, one ayam penyet at a time.
