Safe distancing at collection points

Of course, temperature checks and safe-distancing measures will be observed at all collections points.

Singaporeans are encouraged to collect masks on behalf of those living with them to avoid crowding too. That said, they must present their housemates’ registered identification documents to collect masks for them.

Technology keeping us safe

The improved masks will reportedly provide better comfort and protection , thanks to Nanyang Technological University, textile manufacturer Ghim Li, textile firm Ramatex and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research.

Those, along with contact-tracing efforts, and now vending machines that dispense masks, just show how technology has played a big part in keeping us safe amid this pandemic.

Thanks to these masks, we’ll be able to head out more comfortably and safely until we don’t need them anymore.

Until then, do be cautious and continue to wear your masks when you’re required to.
