Eva Air flight attendants break up fight on plane
On Tuesday (7 May), Eva Air flight attendants were caught breaking up a fight between two male passengers on a flight from Taipei to San Francisco.
The two men were taken away by San Franciso’s airport police for further investigation after the plane landed.
Netizens praised the flight attendants’ bravery and hailed them as heroes for stopping the fight.
Two men fight over empty seat
According to The Liberty Times, one of the passengers grew uncomfortable three hours into the flight as the person beside him was coughing.
The man decided to move to another seat which appeared empty.
However, that wasn’t the case as it had been reserved for another passenger.
As the passenger stopped the man from taking his seat, the pair got into an argument, which quickly escalated into a scuffle.
A minute-long video video of the incident, uploaded on X, showed three Eva Air flight attendants attempting to restrain a man in a white shirt and another man in a blue-striped shirt.

In the video, the flight attendants were seen grabbing the man in a white shirt as he tried swinging punches at the other man.
While holding him from the back, a female air stewardess was seemingly elbowed on the back of her head.
Shortly after, the man in the striped T-shirt rose from his seat and tried throwing several punches towards the man in white.
Amid the punches. a brave flight attendant stood between the two men and kept them apart with her hands.
The man in the blue shirt was later moved away by another male passenger.
Both passengers were handed over to San Francisco police for investigations after the plane landed.
Netizens praise flight attendants’ bravery
As the video made rounds on social media, many netizens praised the flight attendants for their bravery.
“Brave flight attendants, thank you for your hard work.” a netizen commented.
Another user said the flight attendants were tough and gave them a sense of security.
Meanwhile, another netizen joked that air stewardesses should learn martial arts to deal with such situations.
