The couple have a large following on social media, owing to their 37-year age gap.
A child through surrogacy
Since being wed in 2021, the couple have shared their experience together on social media. Recently, they’ve gone viral for documenting their journey into parenthood.
Because of her age, the couple are having a child through surrogacy. The post sharing sonograms of their baby has drawn 10 million views on TikTok while their announcement that they are trying to have a child has drawn a whopping 93 million.
Their latest post regarding their journey into parenthood was a gender reveal earlier this week, which has over 6.7 million views as of 10 July.
Met through work
According to the Daily Mail, the couple met in 2012 while both were working at Dairy Queen. At the time, Quran, the husband, was only 15 years old.
Romantic feelings only developed after they reconnected in 2020, when Quran saw Cheryl, the grandma, working at a convenience store. Shortly after, they began dating and Quran proposed to Cheryl in a livestream with an audience of around 20,000 people.
The couple have since provided plenty of content surrounding their unique relationship. They even have an OnlyFans account set up to share some of their more explicit moments together.
Family supports their relationship
Because of their age gap, their family was concerned about what would happen in the case that Quran was left to raise their child alone.
Regarding that concern, Cheryl said, “If I am not here, he can do it. He’s gonna be a great father – he’s a responsible adult. I had every bit of faith that he could raise our child, and do it very well.”
She also noted that their families were initially hesitant, but have come to support them since. Cheryl even added that she and her mother-in-law were making videos together.
