Ottercity’s Limited Edition Otter Badges
If you’re an otter lover, we have good news — Ottercity, a Facebook page dedicated to all things otters, is selling otter badges featuring local landmarks and of course, our lovely resident otters.
The featured otters are from the otter families residing in Bishan and Marina Bay. Enthusiasts familiar with the otters may recognise some of the names on the badges.
Ottercity badges
There are 4 badge/pin designs — 3 featuring individual otters and 1 of the silhouette of a father otter and his pup. Each of the otter has its own backstory, which gives a little more flavour to the badge.
You can either choose to buy the badges individually at $9.50 each, or buy them in the collector’s set for $25.50.
The life of Singapore otters
In case you aren’t familiar with the Facebook page, Ottercity, it’s almost like a public curation of the otters’ lives.
The page features everything from photo submissions to memes to Christmas wishes.
In October, there was that much talked about otter conflict between the 2 otter families. Ottocity gave an interesting breakdown of the fight, detailing the battle strategies of each family.
So if you’re bored of the Kardashians, you can always keep up with the otters on Ottercity.
Limited stocks
As of yesterday (25 Dec), only 200 badges were left. Ottercity also wrote that they won’t be reproducing the same set of badges. So this may just be your last chance to snag one of those limited edition otter badges.
Whether you’re buying the badges, let’s pay a little more attention to these furry buddies — after all, they call this place a home too.
