Animal Crossing players can finally visit Sentosa Island while self-isolating at home.
On Friday (8 May), Sentosa launched “Sentosa Crossing” — a virtual island where you can relax in spas, hang out in beach bars and visit the island’s hotspots.
If you’re interested to hang out on this 5-star island, then here’s a look at this faithful recreation of our beloved destination.
1. Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa
Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa is a common venue for weddings and special events. While ‘Circuit Breaker’ has halted many weddings, couples can still opt for a ceremony in the online world.
2. Skyline Luge Sentosa
Unlike the real thing, the Skyline Luge at Animal Crossing doesn’t have an actual luge that you can ride in. However, Sentosa promised that you’ll look like a proper luge go-karter if you take a photo from a high angle.
3. Sentosa Beats party
Party animals can still show off their moves on the dance floor at the Sentosa Beats Party, which is inspired by the Siloso Beach Party.
4. Yoga By The Beach
Get the yoga fix you need and relax in the best way possible by participating in Yoga by the Beach in Palawan Green. If only these classes could make you lose calories in real life too.
5. Butterfly Park
Those eager for a romantic date with bae can visit the Butterfly Park and marvel at their vast field of tulips. Their vibrant gardens may serve as design inspiration for players that love to create their own parks in-game.
6. Adventure Cove Waterpark
This version of the Adventure Cove Waterpark may not have the heart-pumping and thrilling rides that we’re used to. Fortunately, you can still chat with your pals or soak up under the sun.
7. Mykonos
While foodies are stuck at home, they can visit Mykonos and other iconic restaurants and beach bars at Sentosa. After you’ve tried their dishes, let fellow players know if the menu lived up to your expectations.
8. S.E.A Aquarium

Book your Sentosa staycation at Animal Crossing
Players will be happy to know that it’s free to book their staycation at Sentosa on Animal Crossing. To get started, book your spot at their Visitor Registration page.
Island visiting hours are from 10am to 12pm, 2pm to 4pm, and 6pm to 8pm SG time. Unfortunately, your visit will only last for 30 minutes and the experience is limited to four visitors per session. The experience may be short and sweet, but it’s bound to memorable.
