Worker nearly hit after SUV crashes into Thailand loan shop
A loan shop worker in Phichit Province, Thailand narrowly escaped an unfortunate fate after an SUV suddenly crashed into the office premises.
The incident was caught on a surveillance camera and shared on TikTok on Tuesday (29 Oct).
In the 23-second video, an employee is handling tasks in front of his computer, with another unoccupied desk next to him.
Unexpectedly, a black Totoya SUV dashed through the glass doors before colliding with the adjacent furniture and desk.
Shocked by the crash, the male worker crouched with his hands covering his ears. He then lifted his head, looking around in confusion.
The man was fortunate, as the vehicle veered in the opposite direction, missing him.
Co-worker injured & was sent to hospital
According to Thai news outlet Channel 7, a 65-year-old female driver along with her 11-year-old grandson was unharmed.
However, one of the workers reportedly sustained an injury after being hit by falling debris.
Meanwhile, another worker shared that he felt lucky as he went away from his desk to drink some water. Otherwise, he would have been injured if he had been seated at his desk.
Some netizens who viewed the video chose to see the lighter side of the incident, with one joking that the driver must have needed money so badly.
