Singapore’s First Starbucks Boutique Opens At Tampines On 14 Dec
After walking past 22 years’ worth of Starbucks outlets in all shapes and sizes, fans may already be familiar with the iconic green coffee establishments peppered around our heartland malls.
That’s why we were absolutely floored by the new pictures of Starbucks’ latest endeavour — The Starbucks Boutique Store opening at Tampines Mall. The specialty store finally opened its doors to the public on Friday (14 Dec).
Circular glass-domed storefront
You’ll get to walk through clear glass doors which extend all the way to the ceiling at their newest outlet.
And be greeted by a warmly-lit interior complemented by artsy wooden accents.
You may worry that there won’t be enough cosy armchairs or sofas since everyone will be choping all the prime seats.
In that case, check out their second floor for more seating options — we’d recommend the window-side seats for a panoramic view of the gardens below.
Nitro Cold Brew coffee on tap
Baristas on-site will also be using state-of-the-art coffee machines and equipment that’s guaranteed to tickle the fancy of even the most picky coffee connoisseurs.
Expect hipster brews like Chemex, Pour Over and Coffee Press styles of coffee at the interactive coffee bar as well.
The boutique store offers High-SES beverages like the Nitro Cold Brew — aka the atas beer foam coffee we usually get from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
Curious about where Starbucks sources your beans? Learn about the origins of your cuppa joe from their interactive display.
24-hour study hangout
Students who call Tampines their home will definitely love this new study hangout. Best part is, if you need to pull a last-minute mugging session out of the bag over the weekend, the cafe is open for 24 hours from Friday to Saturday.
Address: 4 Tampines Central 5, #01-50, Singapore 529510
Opening hours:
Sun-Thu: 7.30am-11pm
Fri-Sat: 24 hours
Here’s hoping they’ll be carrying all these wonderful Christmas merch too.
