Eye-catching performers have recently been spotted at numerous coffee shops around Singapore.

Carrying a ‘bring back the gao’ luminous sign, the performers dance to the viral ‘APT.’ song while holding bottles of Guinness stout with light sticks attached.

The campaign has gone viral on TikTok, with numerous videos circulating on the social media platform.

Dancers perform to ‘APT.’ song while holding Guinness bottles & signs

In response to queries from MS News, 3Q1 — a “Bottle Ritual Team” based in Singapore — confirmed that Guinness had engaged the company for the launch of the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout 6.8%.

A video posted on 3Q1’s TikTok page showed three female performers dancing to Bruno Mars and Rosé’s ‘APT.’

Two performers were seen holding Guinness bottles with lightsticks while the remaining performer had an illuminated sign that reads “bring back the gao”.

Halfway through the chorus, the two ladies place the bottles on the patrons’ table before continuing to dance with the light sticks in hand.

The performance caught the attention of other patrons, who were seen glancing towards the table the dancers were facing.

In another video, patrons were seen cheering and swaying along to the performance.

Performances happening throughout November

Speaking to MS News, 3Q1 founder Chris said the performances started on 1 Nov. They will continue throughout the month of November, on Fridays and Saturdays.

He also shared that the dances will happen at two to three venues each night, with three dancers deployed at each location.

15 members, aged 19 to 30, are involved in the campaign.

Chris added that this is the first time the company has arranged such a campaign for coffee shops.

To ‘qualify’ for the performance, patrons have to purchase at least four bottles of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.

Those interested in experiencing the activation can look to 3Q1’s Instagram page for information on where the performance will be taking place.
