Tiger Sugar Ice Cream Bars Take Over 7-Eleven Outlets In Taiwan, Costs S$1.20 Per Stick
Fans of brown sugar boba milk by Tiger Sugar are losing their minds over the OG brand’s delectable new release in Taiwan.
Excited fans rushed down to their nearest 7-Eleven outlets to get their hands on Tiger Sugar ice cream milk bars, with chewy boba bits, released on Sunday (24 Nov).
Here’s what to expect, and how to get your hands on them, even if you’re not headed to Taiwan for a quick getaway anytime soon.
Tiger Sugar ice cream bars
Tiger Sugar’s take on the dessert is an authentic, frozen iteration of their signature drink – the OG Brown Sugar Pearl Milk.
The creamy milk-based popsicle has thick brown sugar swirls with a bittersweet aftertaste, and generous servings of chewy jelly boba bits within each bar.
Lookout for iconic Tiger Sugar packaging
But if you’re planning to head down to any 7-Eleven outlet in Taiwan, do lookout for Tiger Sugar’s iconic logo and packaging — bearing the tagline, “Brave As A Tiger”, to confirm the authenticity of your purchase.
Previous boba ice cream releases by Lipton, and other brown sugar ice cream bars will not bear Tiger Sugar’s official branding.
Each packet comes with 4 sticks of ice cream, retailing at just S$4.75 (105 NT).
We think it’s quite a steal, considering that each bar comes up to about S$1.20, with enough to go around if you intend on sharing them with your loved ones.
The more boba ice cream, the better
With different bubble tea brands cashing in on the global boba craze, we’re hoping that Tiger Sugar’s latest foray into ice cream will reach our shores soon too.
If you’re not headed to Taiwan any time soon, do check out Happy Ice’s page to order a similar version of Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream Bars in Singapore, as we’ve covered recently here.
